This placeholder Privacy Policy explains what Roswell, GA Jobs collects, why, and your choices. It must be finalized by counsel before launch.

What we collect

Account & contact: your email (for magic-link sign-in and notifications), and anything you choose to add (name, business name, profile details).
Profiles & résumés: optional “looking for work” profile and, if you upload one, a résumé.
Listings & applications: jobs you post and applications you submit (name, email, optional message/résumé).
Location: the approximate location you provide for distance (“near me”/ZIP).
Usage: referral/share parameters (UTM, ref code) so we can understand how listings are found.
Payments: processed by Stripe; we don’t store card numbers.

How long we keep it & who sees it

We keep data while your account is active and as needed to run the Service, then delete or anonymize it. Employers only see applicants for their own jobs. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party processors

We use a small set of providers to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, anti-spam), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare MailChannels (email), and the Anthropic API (the assistant and post tidy-up). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Cookies we use

Essential: sign-in session — required to stay logged in.
Functional: your chosen location, city preview, and theme.
Attribution: referral code, so we can credit who shared a listing.

No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Your choices & rights

Access / export: download your data anytime from your account.
Deletion: delete your account and personal data from your account (employers from the dashboard). We hard-delete or irreversibly anonymize personal fields.

Minors’ data

Some listings (summer, student, babysitting, and similar roles) may involve people under 18. We collect only what’s needed to apply or post, we don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we do not screen, vet, or background-check any user — see the listings disclaimer. If you’re a parent/guardian and believe a minor provided data you’d like removed, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures (encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting, least-data collection), but no system is perfectly secure.
